Actually, I have kind of wanted to try out the guitar, so I decided to give it a try. I wanted to buy a cheaper one for now because who knows if I would actually enjoy it, so I found one for $35 with pretty good reviews stating it was good for beginners. It arrived today, and I have been playing for a while today. It is a lot of fun, even though I am not too good at it, yet. I actually tuned it myself, without breaking any strings, and learned to play three chords, with mixed results each time I play them. I can also kind of read music for it and can kind of play a few Collective Soul songs, for those in the know, I can play the four note sequence in "You", the top notes of the chords at the beginning of "The World I Know", the opening riff of "Where the River Flows" (kind of), and the very beginning notes of "Gel". I think that this could be a keeper hobby.
